Seoul Airports. There are two major airports in Seoul. Inchon International Airport was completed in 2001 and is located just west of Seoul on Yeongjong Island. Inchon serves as the main hub for international flights to and from South Korea. Second is Gimpo Airport, South Korea's first true airport. Gimpo is now primarily used for domestic flights throughout South Korea.
Itaewon, Seoul. Itaewon is the most popular shopping and night life area for the U.S. military and other foreigners living in Seoul. There are dozens of western restaurants and businesses in Itaewon like Outback Steak House and Starbucks Coffee. There are hundreds of bars and night clubs that tailor to foreigners. Itaewon in Seoul is a true melting pot, mixing foreigners and South Koreas.
